legendary Atlanta band Insane Jane will be reuniting for one show only for a benefit for Sylvia Cross

The band features original members Yellow (vocals), Tom Branch (guitar & vocals) and Dave Roth (bass & vocals). Shane Sanders (who played in Atlanta bands Chump, Dew & Ultra Babyfat to name a few) will be filling in for original drummer Tim Campion who now lives in California and can't be a part of the reunion. Insane Jane released two albums in the late 80's & early 90's on Sky records and shared the stage with the likes of Nirvana, Alex Chilton, John Doe, Matthew Sweet and Pylon to name a few. After pounding the road for 5 years and living the ups and downs of major label interest, the band decided to call it a day. This benefit for Sylvia Cross - a huge supporter of Atlanta music & art through her restaurant / performance space Sylvia's Atomic Cafe in the 90's to her art school / gallery The Sycamore Place Gallery in the 2000's - is to help with medical bills she incurred due to hip-replacement surgery without the benefit of health insurance.

This one-night-only benefit for Sylvia is the only thing that Yellow says would get Insane Jane back together again
